Lila Tueller Designs has a great giveaway going on right now. Check it out! That quilt is simply stunning. I don't know if my skills will ever achieve such dizzying heights, but for now, quilting in squares and triangles will have to do. :)
A Little Bit Biased seems to have giveaways on a regular basis. Gotta love it!
Some tutorials that I'm loving right now:
P.S. I Quilt shows how to do a disappearing 9 patch. I've done this several times now, and the result is ever so impressive. Anything that makes me look more skilled than I am is a keeper! Rachel also has a lovely tutorial on making a block o' strings quilt. Unfortunately, I don't have enough fabric strips in my stash to get started on this, but I plan to rectify that problem with a trip to Ikea in the nearish future!
For more basic techniques, here's a great tutorial over at Diary of a Quilter for how to bind your quilt. I haven't managed it successfully yet (more on that later!), but I will try, try again.
Crazy Mom Quilts has a very clear tutorial on making a filmstrip quilt. I am planning on doing this with my second daughter's quilt ASAP. I must get my other projects finished before I start it, though. The fabric I chose was from Moda Tula Pink's PLUME line of fabrics. For a girl who loves both pink and green, it's the perfect colour scheme for her quilt! *love*
